The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) bears witness to DCE’s performance as a no-nonsense, decisive leader. His unwavering commitment to the employment of our students and new graduates is a tremendous boost to enhance the city’s labor force.
The COVID situation sees him flex his ability under stress as he steers our city towards more employment opportunities to cushion the impact of the pandemic by pushing for infrastructure works and securing investments in the city. His full support to the PESO programs like the Government Internship Program (GIP), Jobstart, Special Program for the Employment of Students (SPES), Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa ating Displaced Workers (TUPAD), PRC Mobile Services, Special Passporting Activity, Livelihood and Skills Enhancement Program, and others catapulted our office to garner national recognitions like the BAYANIHAN SERVICE Award, KABUHAYAN Award, and numerous regional awards. These awards are from the Department of Labor and Employment.
In a capsule, DCE is service excellence personified. Lucky are the Tabukeños to have one great leader as City Mayor DARWIN C. ESTRAÑERO.
